The protection of our users' personal data is very important to us, Salumentis OG. What is personal data?

Personal data is information that relates to people whose identity is identified or identifiable (such as name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.).

What personal data do we process from you and where do we get this data from?

We process your personal data that we receive as part of the business relationship with you. These personal data include e.g. your personal details (name, address, contact details, etc.).
In addition, this can also include order data (e.g. payment orders), advertising and sales data, as well as data to fulfill legal obligations.
We either receive this data directly from you or are provided to us by third parties, such as through our partner companies.

For what purposes and on what legal basis is the data processed?

We process your personal data
  • to carry out pre-contractual measures or to fulfill our contractual obligations (Art 6 Para. 1 b GDPR) within the framework of the business relationship
  • on the basis of your consent (Art 6 (1) a GDPR) if you have given us your respective consent for contacting us for the transmission of offers, for the transmission of advertising (advertising purposes) or for the data transmission to the manufacturer / importer
  • to fulfill our legal obligations (Art 6 Para. 1 lit.c GDPR)
  • due to our legitimate interest in data processing (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.of the GDPR)

The processing of your data serves to establish and carry out our business relationship. If you do not provide us with data,    we usually have to refuse to conclude a contract or can no longer carry out an existing contract and must therefore terminate it.

If consent is required for processing, this will be obtained. In any case, consent is voluntary. If you give us your consent to processing       you have given your personal data for specific purposes, processing takes place on the basis of this consent in accordance with the purposes set out in and in the declaration of consent      agreed scope. A given consent can be revoked at any time with future effect in writing or by email. This will make the lawfulness up to that point      data processing is not affected.

You are not obliged to give your consent to the processing of data that is not relevant or not necessary for the fulfillment of the contract.

In addition, we inform that we do not use automated decision-making according to Use Art 22 GDPR to bring about a decision on the establishment and implementation of a business relationship.

Are your data passed on?

We will only pass on your data if this is necessary to achieve the purpose. In order to achieve the purposes mentioned, it may be necessary for your personal data to be disclosed to the following recipients.

  • IT companies provide, maintain and support our IT system as well as for IT-related processing of the purpose of data processing,

  • Marketing partner (graphic designer, advertising agency, printer, mail-order company, telephone marketing, newspaper publisher) for the transmission of advertising, provided you have given your consent in this regard

How long do we store your data?

We will only store your data for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which we collected your data. In any case, we save your personal data, as long as there are statutory retention requirements or the limitation periods for potential legal claims (in certain cases up to 30 years) have not yet expired.

What rights do you have with regard to data processing?

Under applicable law, you are entitled, among other things,
  • to check whether and which personal data we process about you and to receive copies of this data,
  • to request the correction, addition or deletion of personal data that is incorrect or is not processed in accordance with the law,
  • to ask us to restrict the processing of personal data,
  • object to the processing of personal data,
  • To request data portability and
  • to know the identity of third parties to whom the personal data are transmitted.

If we process your data based on your consent, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time by email or post. This does not affect the lawfulness of data processing up to this point.

In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority or with another data protection supervisory authority in the EU, in particular at your place of residence or work.

Information about services that we use on our website

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in the internet browser or by the internet browser on the user's computer system. If a user calls up a website, a cookie can be stored on the user's operating system.
This cookie contains a characteristic string that enables the browser to be clearly identified when the website is called up again.

Server Log Files

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer.
The following data is collected:
(1) Information about the browser (“User Agent”)
(2) Anonymized IP (“Internet Protocol”) address (last octet of the IP address is discarded)
(3) Date and time of access
(4) Exact address of the requested page (“Request Path” and “Request Type”)
(5) Status of the response to the requested page (“Response Status”)
The data is also stored in the log files of our system. The full IP address of the user is also saved in the log file. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.

Auth0

Our website uses a service from the provider Auth0 (www.auth0.com) to authenticate our users. This enables you to use the OAuth2 protocol with third-party accounts (e.g. Google, Facebook, ..) to log in. With your consent, we will receive your contact details (name, email address, profile picture). This data is also stored at Auth0 and accessed from our platform there.
Conversely, we never transmit data to Auth0 or contact data providers such as Facebook or Google.
